It still is amazing to me that it is only 6 days until Christmas! I haven't recovered from last Christmas. I think the world is spinning faster and the days are shorter but we just don't know it. It's actually jut few months after I put away my Christmas decorations. At least this year I didn't have to worry about sending out gifts since we are going down to San Diego to see the grand kids the day after Christmas. That is my Christmas gift. But, I think everything is under control.. the tree is up, the house decorated (sort of), cookies baked and being delivered.. my menu is set for Christmas dinner at my aunts house. I'm making desert as always. This year it will be a Pumpkin/Pecan Pie, a Kahlua Cake and a Cranberry Chocolate Chip quick bread plus any cookies if there are any left. Plus I'm making a Green bean salad as a contribution from my mother. I'll post pictures of all that after it's all made for Christmas dinner.
Now I think I can just kick back for the next few days, but then again there will probably be last minute gifts that I need to get or something I forgot. Tis the season for lots of rum in the eggnog.
