Oh right, the reason we were there.. lamps. He makes one of a kind lamps. Here are some pictures of his creations.. just remember that the pictures just do not do them justice. You may have seen them at Daniell's Creperie and a few other restaurants and businesses around town.

1 Of a Kind
Last night I went with my friend Chris to her friend Rick Crandall's house. Rick makes one of a kind lamps and does stone mosaics. He lives in the Bluffs off Hazel Ave and has a home that is like a designer showcase. It is a 3 bedroom,2.5 bath that seems twice a large as it is because of the way he uses mirrors and color and decor it is absolutely the most beautiful home I've ever seen.. every eclectic. Plus he as what he calls his million dollar view..and it is. From his deck and bedroom balcony he has a commanding view of the American River and beyond. Since it was dark I didn't get the best view but what I did see of the lights of the city, it was beautiful. He has a hot tub out there on the deck and what a great view that would be sitting in the hot tub with some wine.. sigh...

Fabulous! I've seen some of his work: wine closets, counter tops, back splashes, etc. He seems to have a creative eye that results in truly unique results.
i have seen many of his creations and have one of his lamps! everything he does is truly unique beautiful and one of a kind.
I purchased two of his lamps and his workmanship and detail is beyond words! He truly puts his heart into all his work and it shows, and I feel fortunate to own pieces of his art! Thank you Rick for sharing your talents w/us!
