LE RIVAGE HOTEL

I'm not quite sure about the spelling, but this is the new hotel being built on Riverside Blvd. We have worked on and off testing various backflow devices at the site. Last week we tested the backflow device at Scotts Seafood the anchor restaurant for the hotel. Charlie said Scotts was ready to open, had the chef on staff, even had the tables set. They were just waiting for the rest of the hotel to get up to speed. Charlie told him we frequent the one at Lohmans Plaza and the owner said this one would be much better. I sure hope so. It will be nice to have somewhere we can just walk to. It would be nice if it is as good or better than the other Scotts since the Riverside Clubhouse turned out to be such a disappointment. The hotel might be opening quite soon as there have been a lot of cars in the parking lot and I wouldn't think Scotts would have the tables set unless they were expecting dinner guests in a day or so. I think they might be having a soft opening.
They are supposed to also have a spa.. that would be great.
I'll have to go check it out one day and see what is going on..maybe I can snag an invitation to dinner.

I sent to the site to see if they are booking rooms for Jan. I tried to book a room and I couldn't. I could in Feb. though. Room rates are from 170.00 up to 296.00. A room with a river view was 242.00.

I left a message on the phone with re: to Scotts..wanting to know when I could eat!

Opening is to be 31 January. Look for other offerings at the resort. “Halcyon Days”, a 54” luxury yacht, will be operating out of the marina for private charters along the rivers. Additionally there are open discussions to have a limited water shuttle service to Old Sac for quests. http://www.sacramentocruises.com/english/index.html
