BABY SHOWER

Today was my daughter's baby shower. Carol, her mother-in-law held it at her house and we had a great turn out. We both made appetizers and lunch. I made Chicken Kofta Meatballs w/ Yogurt sauce, Pani Puri w/cilantro,garbanzo beans,tamarind chutney and cilantro chutney(that was a big hit). There was also a dip for chips that was really good. It was like, cream cheese,mayo,something smokey like bacon..good and Lumpia w/a chipotle apricot sauce. For lunch I made Thai chicken,Lemon Grass ribs and Sue made a great Asian steak salad. There also was Teriyaki chicken, Chow Fun, pot stickers, macaroni/potato salad, rice. Tons of food. Then there was the cake I made.. it looked cute and tasted good, but the Ganache didn't quite work if you put in on top of chocolate mousse.. it binds up and gets really hard . My daughter got tons of gifts and it was a good time. Plenty of food left over for the men who started showing up around 5:00pm
