Finally got my pies made.. 16. I use the recipe out of the Joy of Cooking. Here is what we need:

Preheat oven to 425 -makes 1 9" pie
2C pumpkin pulp
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 C evaporated milk or half and half
1/4C brown sugar
1/2 C granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/8tsp cloves
Combine all ingredients well, pour into prepared pie shell.
bake for 15 min at 425, then at 350 for 40 minutes or more
until knife inserted in the middle of the pie comes out clean.
Cool on rack.. Enjoy!
