Yes, that Fabian. For those of us of a certain age we remember this teen idol. His son,Christian Forte and his wife now own the restaurant in Fair Oaks.
The menu has a little bit of everything from appetizers to pizzas to sandwiches and entrees. We started with the Mediteranian musscles which were very good (which I forgot to take a picture of). We both had the halibut special. I expect halibut to be a thick cut of fish but this was a thin piece which was over cooked. The saving grace was the hazel nut pesto. It was delicious. That sauce would have made anything taste good. Along with the fish was roasted fingerling potatoes.
Dinner was pretty good.. though the portions were small. I would go back again to try the pasta or pizza. Everything is made in house.
We got to the restaurant around 6:30p.m. and it was packed. Luckily there was one two top table open, after that there was a wait for tables. The decor is plain.. I thought they would have pictures of Fabian in his idol days or with family but no sadly no pictures of the restaurant name sake. It is basically an open room with a bar at the back of the room... it needs something.
Like I said I would give it another try.
