1 large head of cauliflower cut into florets
6-8 Tbsp olive oil
1C dry bread crumbs
3-5 cloves of garlic chopped
salt and pepper to taste.
Steam or boil the cauliflower until crisp tender, drain and set aside to cool.
In a frying pan heat over medium heat 4-5 Tbsp oil add the bread crumbs and toss to combined and browned and crisp. Add the garlic and toss again to combine. Set aside.
Heat the remaining oil in another pan then add the cauliflower, breaking it up a little as it browns in the oil, do not over cook. Add the bread crumbs to the pan and cook stirring until the cauliflower is well coated. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot or warm.
Yum! This dish goes very well with the above recipe for Filo Wrapped Fish.
Supper easy to make and very very good. Even if you don't like cauliflower this might make you change your mind.
