Today we made our TV debut.. don't ask me what we did, it went so fast I have no idea what was said or done. We all had our 3 minutes of fame. We were on KCRA My 58 this morning cooking Latkes from Marlena Spieler's Jewish Cooking book. As you know we've been cooking our way through her book and since it is Hanukkah we were asked to appear on the morning show to feature Latkes. We were there by 7:00am to set up, they had a couple of teaser promos on while we were doing set up then we were on and then we were done. We did finish cooking all the Latkes for the news casters and crew who loved everything we made. Everyone there was so nice and put us instantly at ease so things were very easy.

Eileen is a former caterer in the Sacramento area. When her business partner Sue fell ill, Karen stepped in to help write restaurant reviews, recipes, and food events.
