olive oil, sauteed onions, roasted garlic, sliced tomatoes, goat cheese.
I haven't made pizza for a long time. I decided I needed some pizza, I bought some frozen bread dough which I thawed in the fridge. I sauteed some sliced onions, hot Italian sausage and roasted a few cloves of garlic. As you can see, it is a home made pizza, not even close to being round. It came out whatever shape it came out. The pizza with the tomatoes and goat cheese I first baked the crust that was brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with salt. I then added some roasted garlic, sauteed onions, sliced tomatoes and crumbled goat cheese. I then stuck it back in the oven until it was hot. After removing from the oven I sprinkled arugula over it.The Italian sausage pizza was made the traditional way. After stretching out the dough brushed some olive oil on the dough and spread some tomato pesto over. I placed slice mozzarella around then added the cooked Italian sausage, onions and roasted garlic over. Baked on a baking stone in a 450 degree oven for about 10 minutes. Both pizzas were really good. Of course I love goat cheese so that was my favorite but they both came out very good.
