ROXY

We haven't been to Roxy for quite a while so we decided to go night for dinner. It was better than the last time we were there. We started with the Fried Calamari and onions with Jalepeno Aoli and a chili sauce.. though there were more onions than calamari it was delicious. Charlie had a Cesar Salad w/anchovies which he said was very good. He also had his Rib-eye steak..raw just the way he likes it. Roxy's meat is provided by the owners own cattle from their Lucky Dog Ranch. I say if you have good meat there is no reason it shouldn't be served raw. I had the Dixon lamb burger. Medium rare with Kalamata olives and a topping of goat cheese and red onions. It was very good. Nice and juicy with a good bun that held together. They have great shoe string fries, my only complaint is that it wasn't hot. For desert there was Mexican coffee and Bananna Split.. as you can see it was gone before a picture could be taken. Last time we were there it was good but nothing outstanding. This trip it was really much improved. Plus we can't take Charlie anywhere... he fliped his container of Worchestershier sauce and got it all over himself.. it came out in the wash.
