NEW LEASE FOR CORTI BROTHERS?

Apparently Good Eats/Michael Teel and his partner have backed way from taking over the Corti Brothers store location. It is not a done deal yet as both Michael Teel and Darrell Corti is still in negotiations with the landlord and attorneys. According to the Bee Michael Teel said he wasn't prepared for the bad feeling that the move generated and was part of his decision to back out. It said that he was working with his attorney and landlord to keep Cortie Brothers in place until at least March and even keep the name and have Daryl Corti involved some how.
It will be interesting to see if Corti and the landlord can come to an mutual agreement for the long term.
The Chef's Rally is still on today at 3:00pm, it will be a more joyous occasion at this point.
