NEW OVEN

WHOO-HOO!! I finally have a new oven. It's been sitting in the middle of my living room for the past 2 weeks or more. My old oven went out actually it didn't go out -it really didn't go out it just kept getting hotter and hotter until the smoke detector went off. The smoke was pouring out of the oven and it was so hot you could see the heat radiating off the door.
I wanted a Trivection oven but it was too big to fit in the space of the old oven. I thought I'd have to settle for a plain old oven but when I told the guy at Filco the measurments he said I could get a 27" which meant I could at least get a convection oven : )
Well, yes it fit fine widthwise but heightwise it was too tall for the cutout. So my husband said no problem I can do this...and yes he did. It took some demolition of my old space and took a little of my cabinet space... It took a while but he did get my oven in and it works and now I'm going to have to try out the convection oven and bake something. I wish I had more room and not have to give up cabinet space.. the oven I REALLY want is a double oven with a warming drawer.. one of these days.
