CORN STARCH SPACKLE
I was trying to scrub dried on cornstarch off my counter when it occurred to me that that is what I used to use for spackle. When I had my apartment and needed to fill nail holes in the wall, I mixed up a thick past of cornstarch and used that to fill the holes. I then just used a emery board to smooth it out after it dried. It was cheap and easy and since apartment walls are usually white it matched. Just a thought that occurred to me.
